Most front-yard systems are wired in a day or two once the fixtures are on site. A large yard with long cable runs takes longer. The estimate gives a start window and a finish window.

For the demo, yes: you judge the light. For the install, we need access to the yard, to an outdoor outlet and to the sprinkler controller if one is near the cable route.

A drizzle doesn't stop a demo, and the fixtures are made for wet ground. We reschedule for a hard rain, or for a day the trench would turn to mud.

We aim fixtures at the tree, the wall or the path, not outward, and we show you the spill at the demo. Some cities and HOAs set rules for exterior lighting, so check yours.

Walk the yard at dusk and note where you want light and where you don't. Move anything that blocks a path, and tell us where the outdoor outlet and the sprinkler controller are.

Low-voltage LED systems draw little power. The estimate lists the transformer's size in watts, and you can see what the system pulls.
